About the event

Join Maria Piroli from Gentle Dusk for the second of two important webinars about planning for you and your family's future. Why having a Will and planning a Funeral is crucial in ensuring that you and your loved ones wishes are met.

This webinar is not just for those who are caring for a loved one. It is important to consider this for yourself, no matter what your age.

Dying Intestate and Its Implications

  • When a person dies without a will, they are considered to have died intestate. This means that the the legal system determines how your assets, including property and possessions, are divided among your relatives.

  • Spouse and Children: Typically, your spouse or civil partner and children will inherit first, but the rules can vary depending on your family situation.

  • If there are no direct relatives, your estate may go to more distant relatives or in some cases, the Crown.
