Born in Madrid in 1987, Marco began his journey into filmmaking while studying Media in his hometown, where he discovered a strong interest in visual storytelling. In 2012, he completed a formal cinematography program at ESCAC Film School in Barcelona. He relocated to London in 2014, where he has been based ever since.
Marco’s technical foundation was built in leading camera rental houses, including Service Vision in Barcelona and Panavision and Movietech in London. This early experience gave him a deep understanding of professional camera systems and workflows, which continues to shape his approach on set.
Since 2018, Marco has worked as a 1st Assistant Camera (Focus Puller) across a variety of high-end narrative projects including Upgraded (2024) and Black Mirror (2025). He is currently progressing to the next grade of Camera Operator, with a growing focus on scripted drama and feature films.

He is an Associate Member of the Society of Camera Operators (SOC), a Friend of the Association of Camera Operators (ACO), and a Member of the Guild of British Camera Technicians (GBCT).
Marco is committed to staying current with camera technology and techniques. He regularly participates in industry workshops and training programs led by renowned operators and technicians through the GBCT, SOC and the ACO.

Marco regularly works with the latest equipment and technologies through ongoing collaboration with rental facilities such as ARRI, Panavision, Sunbelt Rentals, One Stop and others.
Marco is also part of BAFTA Connect, a professional development initiative by the British Academy launched in 2020, supporting emerging and mid-career creatives across film and TV through training, mentoring, and industry networking.
