SONY - FUTURE FILMS AWARDS

VMI KIT WIZARD So you have your favourite camera and your go-to lenses and accessories but when do you ever consider using newly arrived kit?   To answer this question, we have constructed a website module allowing visitors to enter an initial set of parameters and build a totally customised camera kit, choosing from every available combination of cameras, primes, zooms, grip and accessories.   Have a go and perhaps choose: S-35 4K anamorphic FF E-mount spherical PL FF anamorphic 5K...   Be sure to tell us what you think too!   (Note works best on a tablet or PC). VMI’s biannual New Products Day is upon us once more and registration is now open.
 
This is a big deal for us, as we only host this once every 2 years, alternating between London and Bristol and this time post COVID, we are hosting a massive 3-day event at a studio in Ealing Green on 6/7/8 December.
 
We plan to show the very latest in equipment developments including: ARRI Alexa-35, Sony Venice 2, RED V-Raptor & Komodo and loads of new lenses, grip, lights and much, much more. Most importantly - Santa is coming (Shh!)

New Studio News: Anna Valley is creating an innovative network of facilities to serve the UK virtual production community, at their expanding hub in southwest London. 

Studio space includes… production facilities – 5 stages ideal for virtual production pilot testing and commercial shooting - production offices - make-up rooms – canteen – infinity stage - green rooms – on-site equipment and expertise for pre-planning a virtual production shoot.

The venerable lens manufacturers, established in 1894, will be based at the historic Hotel 1231 in the heart of Toruń’s Old Town. A ten-minute walk from the festival’s main hub at CKK Jordanki – where Cooke will also have a presence – Hotel 1231’s renovated medieval buildings will host a spacious and controlled environment for cinematographers to conduct in-depth tests.
